Jackass fans the world over are still reeling from the shock of Ryan Dunn's death. Roger Ebert is presumably not one of them. Yesterday, the renowned critic tweeted, "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive." Yes, drinking and driving is never permissible. However, the jury's still out on the exact cause of the car accident that led to Dunn's death. While it's entirely possible drugs or alcohol played a role, let's leave speculative tweeting out of the equation until we have some conclusive evidence.

Fellow Jackass stuntman, Bam Margera recently responded, also via Twitter (how else does one express public outrage these days?):

"I just lost my best friend, I have been crying hysterical for a full day and piece of shit roger ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents about a jackass drunk driving and [he] is one, fuck you! Millions of people are crying right now, shut your fat fucking mouth!"

It's hard not to feel bad for him. Nobody should lose a friend who's only thirty-four-years old. As for Ebert, he should probably just go back to tweeting rice-cooker recipes and New Yorker cartoon captions.
