Vengeful girl turns ex-boyfriend into a meme

You've really done it this time, Jack Weppler. I have no idea what it is that you've done, but I do know that your ex-girlfriend didn't like it one bit, seeing as how she turned you into a meme. And you know what, Jack? I think I'm on her side.

Just kidding, I'm not on anyone's side here, but the vengeful ex-girlfriend who flooded Google with a meme of her ex-boyfriend does win some points for creativity. Here's a sampling of her work:

Oh, to be a petty high schooler again. Oops, did I not mention that these are minors we're talking about? Weppler's mom did in her plea to Google:

My minor son's ex-girlfriend took a copyrighted picture of him (we own copyright) and uploaded it more than 60 times to a website. On each image she wrote slanderous, defamatory, and pornographic captions. The webmaster of the site states he removed the images 6 weeks ago, but Google Search still shows all the images. My son is so stressed out and embarrassed and we've done everything we can to get images off of Google.

This means you can still access the cached trove of Weppler pics to find out how today's kids cope with heartbreak.

It seems I can never overstate how great it was to be young in the 90s.

why the hell would you copy right your son's image? like seriously?

wyz: when you take a photo, you own the copyright immediately. registering it is the bit with the forms, but is not necessary to own the copyright.

Hell hath no fury like a woman with photoshop and fair use.

Lol copyright. Validly legal or not, good luck with making this a court case. Also, parody is fair use.

Feb 06 11 - 11:23pm

LOL JK, ALL best best best.

the mother is not going to get any money, but she could easily get an injunction and restraining order against this girl. the copyright act makes it incredibly easy to file cases for a lot of behavior people think is okay. for one, parody is not always fair use, just as using passages for education is not always fair use. and even is parody were sufficient to cover this case, the right to privacy of a private citizen (and a minor) would likely trump any fair use considerations.

Ridiculous, over the top, and not ok.

gilly youner

if this were done with genders reversed, you can bet it would be in court by now.
A. it is NOT ok.
B. cyberbullying is not vigilante-ism.
C. Minors are not fair game, even to other minors.

sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference between what is good and what is funny.

the kid looks like a dawson's creek douche anyways. that being said, how much would it suck to go to school the next week and find that everybody was laughing AT YOU for something somebody photoshopped onto your picture. i hope he did something TERRIBLE and this is justified, from the looks of that face, i bet he did do something horrible.

I had to google "meme." I feel so badly for the kids these days.

Waaow... If you'll excuse me being vulgar, but HE looks like a total deuch. SHE acts like a total bitch. There's a reason they were together... never the less, IM"H"O she deserves a trip to juvie.

I do not really care if she were hurt in some break up, nor does it matter what he looks like (some commenters here need to grow up). what matters is that she is a bully and clearly lacks civilized boundaries. Let us be clear: this is viciousness, which some excuse because of the "go, girl" stupidity which we hear from angry women like Oprah. I hope this ends up costing her a lot in money, reputation, and friends. The boy will carry scars from this for a long, long time. She should, also.

Unfortunately we don't know both sides to this story on why the "ex" did this (probably had good reason).....his mom should be happy that the "ex" used this picture and not a nude one!

lmao ahahahahahahaa
