Twitter tricking people into watching porn

Twitter is tricking people into watching pornography.

Reports emerged this morning that a bug in the all-new Twitter has been exploited by some pranksters who were able to redirect users to pornography sites. Apparently some gap in Twitter's system allowed thousands of people to be taken to lewd, X-rated content by simply hovering over a certain link, a move known in nerd circles as "mouseover" and in regular circles as, "Holy shit, what just happened?"

A Twitter spokesperson has reported that the bug (below) has been fixed, saying, "This should now be fully patched and is no longer exploitable." The spokesperson, however, did not tweet the message, probably because he was too busy staring at sweet, sweet porn.

So who was responsible for this bold, pro-masturbation witchcraft that magically transported unsuspecting Twitter users to unholy videos of graphic nature? We don't know, but it probably was not that suddenly newsworthy person whose name rhymes with O'stine Chridonnell.
