As you no doubt know by now, Netflix has raised their prices by splitting their streaming and DVD-by-mail services into two separate, slightly more confusing sites. Qwikster, which doesn't deliver powdered-milk flavorings to your doorstep, is the spin-off arm that handles the DVDs. (The name change also caused a bit of controversy when it turned out that the Twitter handle was already owned by a stoner named Jason Castillo, whose account featured a pot-smoking Elmo avatar.)
A sketch cut from the Melissa McCarthy-hosted SNL due to time constraints had some linguistic fun with the whole Netflix situation. Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis chart the evolution of some additional name changes to the company that you probably weren't aware of. Who could have imagined that Netflix would wind up as a one-stop shopping emporium featuring Commodore 64 games, insurance, and unsalted nuts?
