Watch: 45 seconds of Sarah Palin breathing goes viral

Well, this is weird. Someone pieced together forty-five seconds of Sarah Palin breathing, taken from the ex-governor's recent video, "America's Enduring Strength," in which she responded to those who linked the shooting in Arizona to her sometimes violent political language. (She also likened such criticisms to "blood libel," the false accusations used to justify the persecution of Jews throughout much of European history. Keeping things in perspective: Sarah Palin's strong suit.)

It turns out kind of frightening, like standing too close to a malfunctioning robot:

This is definitely one of those "internet things" that would make my mother just shake her head and wonder just how much candy-colored lead paint was available to children of my generation. (Answer: so much lead paint.)
