The Webby Awards — the so-called "Oscars of the Internet" — celebrate their fifteenth year tonight. Lisa Kudrow will host, succeeding past hosts who include B.J. Novak, Seth Meyers, and Rob Corddry. It's always a pretty entertaining show, based on a long-established rule that award-winners' speeches are limited to five words. The results of this policy have ranged from obscure (Prince: "Everything you think is true") to hilarious (Stephen Colbert: "Me me me me me!"), but watching the winners work with the limitations makes for good theater.
And now, for the first time, you can watch the whole thing in the most natural place for an internet awards show: the internet. Head to Facebook tonight at 8 P.M. EST, and stream the show for free. We'll be watching too, with our two Webbys nestled lovingly under our arms. Not to brag.
