First off, congratulations to Don and Kaycee Laroza on their recent nuptials. Second off, "Marry Me" by Train? Come on guys, that's too easy. But seriously, what a rad wedding video. This trend in wedding-video one-upmanship is starting to heat up, and eventually, we'll be seeing full-length 3D wedding videos with multi-million-dollar budgets.

In this video, the Larozas sincerely flatter a little movie by Christopher Nolan that you may have seen, and are probably still trying to figure out. The short movie is called Inception/Reception, and what begins as a regular wedding ceremony in Santa Monica, California, suddenly takes a strange turn. That bride who played drums on "Master of Puppets" in her wedding video? So last month.

First in a trilogy. Next out is "Conception" then, in seven years, "Deception".

Two minutes in, I was already checking to see how much longer. Man, some people are really fond of themselves.

Uh, it's a wedding video played at the wedding. At least that's what the guests are supposed to think it is.

I wonder if the rights to the video were negotiated as part of the pre-nup.

Obviously the video was intended for family and friends. You can't expect it to hold up so well to a wider audience.

I agree that that's almost certainly true. Nerve likes to post these things, though, which tends to make me think "oh maybe this one will be one that the general public will get a kick out of." Usually, I'm incorrect. Oh but I live in hope! And mild disgust at the amount of money people spend on weddings!

(This is why my wedding videos are not online. No one but the people who know us or were there would/should give a shit. And I got married and then jumped out of an airplane, which is inherently more interesting than most.)

Now that is how you do a wedding introduction at the reception.
