Check out the zipline tour from hell. This clip illustrates how folks in a tiny Colombian village get from their hometown to, well, anywhere else: they strap themselves onto a plunging steel cable and fly hundreds of feet across an abyss, using homemade wooden brakes to stop 'em on the other side. The government won't build a bridge because of the low number of villagers and the high cost of construction. (After all, who would spend millions to build a "bridge to nowhere"? Right, Alaska?)
