This is just frigging weird: an attempt, apparently by Iranian television, to show that Woody Allen is part of the great Jewish plot to take over the world (you know the one). Now, I've heard some strange stories about that old plot, but out of all the Jewish filmmakers in the world, to select Woody Allen either shows these guys to be comedy geniuses taking the piss out of rampant institutional anti-Semitism, or pebble-minded dunderheads who probably listen to Tom Jones records backwards for satanic murmurings. — Faisal A.
