ARTIST GUIDELINES
Since Chronogram is a magazine of the arts, we strive to feature the best
available art for our monthly Cover and Parting Shot features. Both are full
page venues for local/semi-local (Hudson Valley) artists to display their
work. Along with both are (approximate) 100-word bios about the artist and
gallery where and
when to find the original work. Please send samples via e-mail or snail mail
to the address below for consideration.
As well as the Cover and Parting Shot opportunities, there are many other
ways artists can be seen in Chronogram. We are always looking for new talent
to grace our pages. Assignment photographers, illustrators and cartoonists
are needed every month! Chronogram pays $40-$80 per assignment. Please send
samples via e-mail or snail mail to the address above.
PARTING SHOT SUBMISSIONS:
photographs/mixed media: original work* (no larger than 8.5x14), 35mm slide,
large-format transparency, 300 dpi 8x10 BW scan (tiff/jpg/psd)
*Original work can be submitted, though is not recommended. We can direct
large-format painters on how to get a 4x5 transparency shot for easier
submission. Photographers, please submit original prints no larger than
8.5x14.
Please note: Chronogram does not pay for Cover or Parting Shot art. All
mailed artwork must come with a SASE in order to be returned. All
measurement requirements listed above are in inches.
Thanks, and I hope to see something of yours soon.

the work is extrodinary,i am fortunate to own one of kenan's photographs. his eye for this sexual/sensual/organic feel is on-point!
dear nerve, please show more of his work....
Kenan's images are pages from his diary as an artist and photographer. As a fellow photographer and one of his greatest admirers I can only say he "ROCKS"!
Kenan, great job. For someone who has devoted much of my art career to noticing the beauty in nature, and in the people around me, you have mastered what takes most people a life time to even discover. Humans are animals and you have successfully brought that point across in an amazingly, genuine way. Thank you.
thealmost black photo i liked the most because of the fact that something minimal(little variation of light ) and something unspectacular can say a lot

The best photo would have to bethe one in the tall grass. It reminds me of a trip I took to Jamica.
These are wild and wonderful photographs.

Wonderful use of nature and being one with it. Really lovely work!
As a realist I don't see what is romantic and beautiful about these photos of folks in the weeds. It looks scratchy as hell and how about poison ivy?
Warm and fuzzy, dreamy and light, yet magical and mysterious all at the same time.
very sexy
Beautiful and a cut above many of the other artists!!
I must say you look very lovely!
If there ever was someone who needs to be with you it's me so that you can feel the animal in me!
