Though not a foot fetishist, I do like a nice pair of feet. I agree a pair of feet with deformed toes are unpleasant, I disagree with the toe nail painting - I'd prefer either a light colour polish, or none. Bright red is just as bad as black.
The photos that did the most for me weren't the photos purely of the foot or feet, but those where they are a part of the whole body, or at least part of the leg. Where they are a part of the female shape and form. In that situation a nice pair of feet are the icing on the cake, not the cake itself. :)
As an afterthought, I'm glad strappy shoes have come back in fashion. They show off the foot nicely, giving a nice lengthening effect to the leg. :)
hmmm.... an interesting photo play, and excerpt... interesting in that it paraphrases much of what I had created independently for my nerve member website (the text part, that is) without having any prior knowledge of the existance of the novel. Oh, well, there goes my chance at writing that one....
Although the photos are enjoyable, I have seen others done in the context of artisanship which surpass & stimulate my esoteric centres in a much more appreciative way... there is not enough evokation of passion for me in these. I wonder aloud, if the photographer had really taken the time to experiment with emotion & passion in the creation of the photo series.
But overall, I think it's a good attempt to give promotion to a little explored fetish for the sake of art.
