These are the real deal; they work because they stand as great photos independent of the enhancing processing technique applied. Not only are the shadows and body angles great, but in many of the shots, the photographer has captured that bit of magic that is nearly impossible to control. Bravo!
pjt, yep, that was me...May to September. The sites below are the best for seeing more work....Thanks for asking...
My main site is undergoing a complete overhaul and will be entirely replaced within a month or so with a new look...
Your images looked familiar and then I remembered! Didn't you have a show at the Pasadena Museum of Calif. Art last summer? Are there any other sites where I can view your work? Your art touches places in my soul that have never been exposed before. Thank you.
From Kevin: I guess it's time I chimed in...First, thank you for your thoughts...especially those who did searches to track me down. The easiest way to get ahold of me is to email me at gallery@kevissimo.com.
Secondly, these pieces were created through a technique I started about 10 years ago called 'oilgraphing.' It's essentially a hybrid of photography and oil mediums. The process is done with each print, so that renders each one an original. To those who've asked, yes I sell prints and I do commissions. Actually half of my work comes from commissions...
Finally, as far as a book is concerned, I'm currently shooting portraits of celebrities and social leaders done in this style for a book that's to be distributed in a large retail chain that I'm not allowed to name yet. (And I now take back all of my criticism of them over the years)
For my catalogue and the work that you currently see, I'm seeking out the right publisher as we speak...
Thank you again and feel free to shoot me any questions.

Awesome images! Kevin, your work is stunning. I'd really like to know more about your technique. It's unlike anything I've ever experienced and it leaves me wanting to see more. Do you have any books of your work? If not, you should. Your creations deserve to be seen by everyone and anyone who's has ever felt passion and love. Thank you Nerve for showing us beauty such as this.
Mesmerizing---Kevin, where have you been hiding?---Your work is haunting. I fell asleep last night after viewing your images and dreamed of them. I'm excited that you are being 'discovered'.
Amazing work! The best photography you've EVER presented (and it's free!) Rolly's images are ethereal, sensuous and haunting. I'd really like to know more about his technique. The photos don't look 'painted'. I've never seen anything like it. Wonderful!
Marvellous - at last some pictures that don't look like a set of instamatic holiday snaps from a trash dump. These are mysterious, artistic and infused with sensuality.

This stuff is spectacular. I would LOVE to have a book of this work.
Best nudes I have seen in a long time. Originally expression of sexuallity and art. Rich images. Strong voice. Hope to see more from Kevin.

Sigh. Makes me want to be her... in each and every one.
Thanks, Kevin.

These are a fantastic series; sensual, unique and very sophisticated.
And best of all, they're in the free section (just like the old days, when you had "good stuff" for free)
Excellent photos! So nice to see some actual ART on Nerve instead of the usual cheap soft porn.

Great pictures, I really connected.
those aren't like the nudes I ever drew in class!
So very evocative and dreamy. Makes me want to disappear into your world.
