Summerland
by Susan Egan

Of all the vaguely phallic root vegetables, the parsnip is certainly the funniest. Especially when the parsnip in question is demurely, yet suggestively, crossing her little legs for us, her up-top pony tail looking to be blowing in the breeze. But what's the relationship between a prim parsnip, a firewalker, a not-so-prim sunbather and a voyeuristic pooch? They are just some of the unpredictable images in this remarkably cohesive series by Susan Egan.
