As any New Yorker will tell you, one of the best and worst things about living in this city is that you can walk down the street bawling your eyes out and no one will bat an eye. Hell, you could be naked and bawling if you liked, and you'd still garner barely more than a second glance. The second-best thing about living here is meeting people who flagrantly break the rules of non-engagement.
