You might give a bit more credit to Jane Livingston and Rosalind Krauss who orginated the title 'L'Amour Fou' with an exhibition and a book by the same name. Most of your comments and illustrations seem to come from that book.
Awful first experience for me on nerve.com. Every test link on this page was the very same set of pictures and the first picture link was broken in every set.
Was Bunny Yeager (photo Bettie Page, who looks like the Groom I was best man at, her alernate reality John Page) influenced by ManRay? Maybe. I hope you enjoy these I did the article about the bra engineer form NYU who said Courtney Love was "zoftig" wish she has better luck in New York than she's had. Wow...Just like the press, oh well first Kurt copped some heroin then went on Saturday Night Live...and...yeah right, just what an artist need pre-emptive reviews.
Interesting work that makes me think of the photos taken in the 1950s yet the photo essay still retains a contemporary feel-the work manages to be erotic without being 'pornographic'-or 'crude'.
