In each of these photos by Dave Naz, there is a single concession to artifice: a pair of thin cotton panties, which serve as guardian between the viewer and the subject's secret folds. Most women are reluctant to surrender the guise afforded by costume, especially when held hostage by a photographer; even when applied sparingly, lipstick, corsetry and pumps provide a safe divide between reality and photographic illusion.
