“Are you two still having sex?” I asked one of my few might-as-well-be-married friends this week. She’s been living monogamously with her boyfriend for the past four years. “Of course,” she said with a puckish smile I’d never seen her wear before. It had been my general assumption that married people (or might-as-well-be-married people) didn’t have sex. At least not surreal sex, the kind you remember via bite marks, bruises and hazy flashbacks. Apparently, I was wrong.
