Finally some true classic erotica on the pages of Nerve. Ms. Von Teese is classically beautiful in the chimerical way of the imagination, and the photography only illuminates this in the way that is lit and shot. Dreams are made of this stuff, but alas, the kind that never come true.

First off I have to admit that I've been a fan of Miss Von Teese for several years. I've seen her stage show in L.A., New Orleans and am planning on seeing her again in Vancouver, B.C. on January 11. Her show takes you back to a time of Sally Rand style burlesque with all of its glitz and glamour. As lovely as the photos are, and they are lovely, Dita doesn't really sparkel until she is under the stage lights. No wonder she is one of the stars of the new burlesque movement. I saw where one of the readers compared the photos to Playboy, well I admit Dita does remind me of the Vargas girls from Playboy's heyday. Thank you Nerve for "Time Warp" and thank you Dita for bring some style back to the stage.

This is the closest thing to Playboy porno that I have ever seen in Nerve. And that's not good.

Yeah, Dita is hot, but I didn't get the anachronistic feeling you set me up for (except for the pinup pose). The photos aren't all that creative (they aren't bad mind you) and women weren't shaved within an inch of their lives. They described the great Marilyn as "being blond everywhere".

There appears to be an error with the third picture link, it brings up the second picture again. Aside form that there are some very nice pictures here :)
