This Pug Is A More Responsible Parent Than We'd Be Right Now

Some strange folks in Portland, Oregon shot and edited this YouTube video of a pug playing Mom. And boy, does she play it to the hilt. Parasol, stroller, and two (Nintendo plush toy) pugs in her pink stroller. If only every parent paid this much attention to their kid, we wouldn't have so many bruises and busted toenails from out-of-control strollers.
Our 8-1/2 month old Pug puppy, Jenny, pushes her Nintendog pug dollies around Portland, Oregon. She leaves from our home, goes under the St Johns Bridge, and visits Waterfront Park, Downtown Portland, Union Station, Pittock Mansion, Rose Gardens, and the Grotto, and returns back home.
Of course, we have to wonder how much of this is doctored via the magic of video montage, but it still feels genuine enough:
Our favorite part is the little girl by the fountain practically jumping for joy when she sees the pug. Even though she appears for about two seconds and the scene is-- obviously-- without sound, it still made our morning.
