Facebook Status Updates Are Out Of Control

We've been harping on guys and their douchetastic ways a bit too much as of late. Yes, they have a horrible time expressing their feelings or even just being honest about what they want, but these are the same guys who didn't talk much in the beginning, spent most of their free time fixing a vehicle, and like to watch sports with their friends. Did you think they were going to magically do a 180 for you?

This problem is never more glaring than on Facebook: status updates like the one below are often absurd in their TMI-whining-fairy tale daydreams. Luckily, there's usually one friend who calls bullshit-- or at least, "delusional."

Now, ladies, do you see how ridiculous it is to expect all that? To guys, Theresa's wants are no more "out there" than wanting to roleplay scenes from The Matrix.

And by the way, what is up with this Theresa lady anyway? I'm assuming that's her boyfriend in the picture... he must've been utterly thrilled to have seen this one...

Mandy, it depends why she hung up. I must confess to having on occasion said things that legitimately provoked a GF to hang up on me, and it really was my responsibility to call back and apologize.

Not only this is absurd, it is a complete lie. Women don't want perfection, they need a project. Theresa will drop Matrix Boy in a hot second for a brooding, drug-abusing, unemployed, broke jerk who barely talks to her and steals money out of her purse.
