If you're not familiar with Precious Moments figurines, you should be. They are, according to The Faster Times' Ruth Graham, "innocent babies that do grown-up things like celebrate anniversaries," you know, precious moments.
Crazies Regular people across the country (and probably around the world) are obsessed with Precious Moments, collecting them, creating decorating schemes around them and we can only imagine they're used in certain prayer rituals—which is fitting, considering a man decided to build a shrine to the big-headed ceramic tchotchkes. The Precious Moments Chapel, located in Carthage, MO is lovingly and very seriously referred to as "America's Sistine Chapel" and features such gems as this Oklahoma City firefighter.

Yep.
At least we'll all be happy babies in heaven.

disturbing.
Yes, that artwork certainly does compare favorably with the painting that what's-his-name...that Italian guy...you know who I mean, the chapel guy, anyway this picture is every bit as good as his...because, you know, it's on the ceiling. Like in that chapel.
Crazy Americans!
