Michael Jackson Is Still Alive!

We're starting the day with this simply to get it out of the way: the video that claims to prove Michael Jackson is still alive.

It floated around the internet all day yesterday and was disputed by every single person who saw it. Literally. I mean, I've never seen a video so universally eviscerated.

So why are we posting it? Because it's already legendary for its absurdity. See here:

The original poster on LiveLeak claims the license plate matches the van that took the body away from the hospital. Of course, no one even bothers to look this up. Anyone can make a license plate, after all.

A couple of things: 1) for a fake video, this is pretty elaborate. The Coroner's van looks pretty decent, there are a bunch of actors in on it, and they were smart enough not to have the fake MJ turn toward the camera. 2) How the hell did they think they'd get away with releasing something, pretending to be of such great magnitude, weeks after it would've taken place?
