Madonna Would Rather Get Hit By a Train Than Marry Again
By Emily FarrisOctober 1st, 2009, 2:49 pmComments (3)
For those of you holding out for a Madonna + Jesus union, don't hold your breath. While on David Letterman last night Lady M made it very clear she doesn't want to marry again. Never. Ever.
When Letterman asked if she'd ever consider it, she said, "I think I'd rather get run over by a train." (And then she ate pizza).
Well, there you have it folks.
And she's clearly not alone:
"I'm into monogamy. But I'm not really into marriage. I sort of hate the legal aspect of it. What does the state have to do with it?" - Natalie Portman
"If variety is the spice of life, marriage is the big can of leftover Spam."
Johnny Carson
"My wife and I were happy for twenty years. Then we met."
- Rodney Dangerfield.
"Marriage is a fine institution - but I'm not ready for an institution." - Mae West
"With what I know, I don't see why anyone would get married." - Christie Brinkley

Oh, Natalie Portman. I <3 you for that statement alone.
What a coincidence: I'd rather be hit by a train than married to Madonna.
"What does the state have to do with it" Oh the naivete! You say that until issues of child custody, inheritance, visitation, immigration, tax, etc. come up.
