A Dad's seemingly-harmless column about taking his 11-year-old son to lunch at Hooters set off an insane amount of controversy on USAToday.com.

Somebody had the idea for an experiment called "Shopping While Black." It's about what you'd expect if you set a "Driving While Black" stunt in an upscale Fifth Avenue store.

Tiger Woods picked a 12-year-old boy at random from a crowd to hit a drive with him. The boy turned out to be a great golfer and hit two 200-yard drives in a row-- making him now the hottest young player in the sport.

The rumor mill thinks there's a David Letterman "sex tape," which sounds like just some surveillance footage of Letterman and a staffer making out in a hallway.

Christian Bale based his performance as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho on Tom Cruise's "very intense friendliness with nothing behind the eyes."

Wall Street Pit has this shocking story of life behind the scenes at the Madoff organization:

Bernard Madoff’s investment firm is described as a place where a culture of “sexual deviance” and drug use was the norm.

According to the [dozen-plantiff lawsuit], employees described “wild office parties sans spouses” featuring “topless entertainers wearing only G-string underwear serving as waitresses,” and sexual encounters on “their boss’ sofa.”

“Madoff’s affinity for escorts, masseuses and attractive female employees was well known in the office culture,” the complaint says. “A significant amount of the money stolen from investors went towards these lavish indulgences as well as other expenses for his employees, family and favorite feeders.”

Well that's trickle-down economics at its best right there, huh?
