Beyonce: Too Sexy For Egypt?

An Egyptian parliamentarian, Hamdi Hassan, is pressuring the country's government to revoke Beyonce's permit to perform her scheduled November 6 concert - and it's not because of how dumb "Ring The Alarm" is (hey-o!).

(I'm pretty sure that was her most recent single, right? Timely!) No, Hassan wants Bey kept out of the country because, according to a speech he gave to parliament, "The government is trying to make people indulge in sin and licentiousness to cover up the other crimes it is committing against them." This is the same thing that happened the night of the inauguration - while we as a country watched Beyonce sing, the United States euthanized the entire state of Rhode Island. You heard it here first.

(It is interesting, though, to see how this man is reacting to Beyonce, who has several songs about how men, like, really should lock it down and not screw around. I can only imagine he would have an aneurysm if Britney had a gig in Cairo.)
