Scott Brown's Wife Was An 80s Video Vixen

This is just amazing. While Brown was out getting nude pictures taken for Cosmo, his wife Gail was starring in the video for Digny Fignus's "The Girl With the Curious Hand", strutting about lustily in a bikini. There is also a scene in which she uses her, uh, curious hand to squeeze a tube of sunblock, which sends the white contents of the tube shooting up into the air. I present these facts to you without commentary.
(Sorry about the minute or so of your host, Craig Cutler, who shockingly did not become a well-known MTV VJ.)
So that's one guy who posed for naked photos, one daughter who was on American Idol, and a lady who took part in a hilariously ridiculous video from the 80s. Don't be surprised if this turns out to be the family dog:

The whole Cosmo-model-politician with a wife-who-starred-in-suggestive-music-videos and daughter-addicted-to-self-promotion thing would be perfectly alright if he wasn't such a damned hypocrite in his speeches and votes on gender/sex issues (i.e., a republican). In other words, we need to remember it's his current 'respectable' veneer of conservatism that is despicable and not this past silliness. To argue the opposite is to agree with Glenn Beck.

That just sounds like any other desperate-for-publicity basketcase, only this basketcase is now the spoiler of a supermajority and a new twist in an already messy health care dispute. Hooray for priorities!
I see the Left is up in arms over this while us - Independant - folks on the Right are just laughing our asses off. She was cute, she was in a bikini, so are her daughters in one recent photo and her husband was a male hottie with a centerfold. Frankly, it's all just hilarious.
As far a policy goes, we'll see if Brown can actually hold his own and follow through on the positions he took that got him there.
The eternal double-standard: if the embarrassing photo/comment/affiliation implicates a "liberal", no one gives a shit. If it implicates a "conservative", it's transmitted to everyone on Earth. Who cares what someone did in the friggin' 1980's? Who isn't a little bit ashamed of their past? Break out the high school yearbooks and laugh your ass off.
Scott Brown is to Republicans what Barack Obama is to Democrats: the angelic embodiment of American ideals who has graced the earth with his unexpected victory and charming personality. Both make their respective zealots show their "OH face." Both sail on the increasingly popular "independent" insignia but really are as politically independent as an antelope. So in my thoughts, who the shit cares if his wife was in a goofy 80's music video that looks like a Tim and Eric Awesome Show copyright infringement? Who cares if he was in a nude centerfold? He's a good looking dude. Likewise, who the shit cares if Barack Obama is acquainted with Bill Ayers? Guilt-by-association is the cheapest weapon of both parties. None of this holds any political significance. It just shows the nature of partisan loyalties in this country.
