Saturday Night Live has been hit-or-miss this season. Like last week's Jon Hamm episode? Brilliant. Charles Barkley? Barely literate. Sigourney Weaver? Sure, that was okay. But this weekend featured Twitter darling Ashton Kutcher, vying for relevance for reasons we can't explain. Now, this episode didn't suck purely because Ashton is totally grating, an annoyance, and hasn't been important in five years...you could just tell the writers didn't have very much to go on with a guy who values his own brand of spastic humor so highly. But there was one actual Kutcher-related sketch whose concept managed to not only be funny, but irreverent enough to be almost-brilliant. So which was it? Check it out, below!

Although this isn't really fair...everyone knows Burn Notice is that show that has a fat Bruce Campbell in it.

SNL's strength has always been satire, social commentary and character. In recent years it's verged towards pure absurdism to its detriment.

I didn't see Kutcher this time around, but last time he was on SNL I thought he was amazing.

Yeah. Like most absurdities, it's a funny idea, but hard to execute properly.

Also sad because Burn Notice is better than SNL...

burn notice is better by far. these guys drove the finest comedy television program into the ground, and then adopted the style of making fun of things they don't like. That's comedy at it's worst. I guess they sell enough ads to middle school kids to get by.
