It's not very often I find myself thinking, "Yeah, you GO, CPAC attendees!" But nothing's impossible, it seems, because that's what happened when I watched this video of Ryan Sorba - who, as you can see from his picture, is just the picture of the word "douche" - go off on a little homophobic tirade after denouncing CPAC for inviting GOPride to the conference and get booed off the stage, basically.

Nice, isn't it? And over on the Daily Dish, Andrew Sullivan has the report of an exchange Sorba got into with gay conservative Alex Knepper, which is worth the read, because this guy is really all class. Also, the topic of oral sex comes up a lot.

That man should be put to sleep. But okay. Let's embrace this little mantra he invented, this intended bulletproof argument, for the sake of discourse. "Civil rights are grounded in natural rights. Natural rights are grounded in human nature. The intelligible end of the reproductive act is reproduction." Ergo, mine Fuhrer is saying that homosexuality is "reproductively irrational" and therefore not deserving of said civil rights. To assume this one must (absolutely MUST) also assume that any and all personality trait, lifestyle, physical flaw, religious custom, or any other area of personal distinction--essentially individuality--must also be robbed of civil rights if it does not align with the propagative instincts of humanity. Sorba MUST acknowledge this if he believes in his argument against civil rights for homosexuals. He must also acknowledge that this supposed philosophy would therefore call for the restriction of civil rights for celibates, certain religious sects, the physically disabled, CHILDREN, asexual individuals, and vasectomized men and women. There is no denying this. This is what his argument is saying. What a fucking embarrassment to humanity. DUMBASS! You can be gay and propagate! This man is a disgrace. If he actually believes in what he is saying then he might as well join the Nazi Party of America. They call for the same God-damn thing.

I'm sorry. This just makes me angry.

This just proves that Young Americans for Freedom is another misnamed group. What "freedom" is this guy allegedly for?
Honestly, did he think there was ANYONE who was going to appreciate his pathetic and odious performance?

This guy wants to be the next Glenn Beck in the worst way. Can we just start treating these people for the extreme fringe characters that they are?

This is what happens when you stop funding state mental hospital programs and leave the crazies out in the streets.
