Playboy leaps into the late 20th century with SFW porn site

Sexy Playmates

Back in 1983, I was probably too young to know what Playboy was. "Little Red Corvette" was my first favorite song and I had no idea what it was really about. Why would a woman be a Corvette?

These questions will boggle my mind for decades, much as Playboy’s decision to launch a safe-for-work version of its website does. What would a SFW Playboy look like? Interviews, ads and college fiction? Wrong — it basically looks like NSFW sites like ours: lots o’ skin (even without nipples and privates), bikinis, sexy situations, and everything else you’d expect from Playboy — minus the actual nudity, of course.

How to get laid at work

Is this safe-for-work? (The model certainly isn’t — one bajillion dollars to the first person to correctly identify her for me, thanks.)

Playmate Kim Phillips in Smoking Jacket

Is this photo safe? Put it this way: if you brought a Victoria’s Secret catalog to work, what would happen? Exactly. (Note to Playboy: this does not mean we want fewer photos of Kim Phillips.)

See Hef’s video introduction to the site here.
