“Survivor” on CBS wants to emphasize just how old their audience is

In a clear effort to attract a younger audience, the network with the oldest demographic on TV plans to hammer home just how youth-challenged their viewers are. By having Letterman remind us nightly, you ask? Not quite. They’re going to pit old people vs. young people on the upcoming season of Survivor.

The competing tribes in Survivor:Nicaragua will be divided into two camps – under thirty and above forty. It’s a tough call: youth vs. wisdom. As the old saying goes, you can bring a horse to water but when you throw thirty people into a mud pit only the young and strong will survive.
