Brett Favre penis pictures scandal reminds us never to sext strangers

It's been a while since Scanner found itself a solid, old-fashioned sports sex scandal (remember that Tiger Woods fellow?) -- and now we have at least an alleged one, with a much more embarrassing fashion angle.

Jenn Sterger, the current Maxim It-Girl, came to national prominence when she was seen in the audience at a football game and a broadcaster quipped that 1,500 (or was it 15,000) dudes just enrolled at FSU. From there, her modeling career took off and she soon found herself working for the New York Jets organization, which Brett Favre made a brief pit stop at en route to his excellent work with the Vikings.

Sterger claims that, one day, the married quarterback started text messaging her, innocently at first, and then soon with penis pictures. The Deadpsin story that broke this mini-scandal notes that Sterger wanted nothing to do with this "taken" man, but the photos kept coming... until...

And it happened multiple times. In fact, Sterger claims that, in one of the photos Favre allegedly sent her, he's masturbating — while wearing a pair of Crocs. In another photo, Favre is holding his penis while wearing the wristwatch he wore during his first teary-eyed retirement press conference. [Deadpsin]

In addition to the fashion faux pas, Deadspin may have made a big journalistic one. Sterger never really went on the record with this information, yet her friend AJ at the Gawker Media outlet ran the story after first warning her he was going to basically "dick [her] over" anyway.
