The August 27th theatrical re-release of the highest-grossing movie of all time will feature nine extra minutes of footage, including what James Cameron coolly underplays as twenty extra seconds of Na'vi sex. He told MTV, "I would say, just so that we correctly manage people's expectations…it does not change our rating at all. I would call it more of an alien foreplay scene. It's not like they're ripping their clothes off and going at it."
Still, "the ultimate intimacy," which is the actual description of the sex act in Cameron's script, is nothing to make light of. The 121-page script includes several other previously unseen scenes which you can read about here.
