If you like sad/uplifting pet stories, sentimental rock songs and monsters from David Cronenberg movies, you will be pleased with the new Yeasayer video for "Madder Red." Watch Kristen Bell emote as her pet latex monster coughs up blood. Watch her shed an actual single tear. It might be her best performance.
Check it out if you enjoy slightly twisted, sweet love stories. Don't watch it if your sensibilities or stomach are easily rocked. It's only available for viewing off The Guardian website. We recommend you watch The Fly immediately afterwards.

Why would she wait until her latex pet thing was excreting green stuff to bring it to the animal er? Wasn't the spitting out blood enough of an indication that there was a problem?
