Iraqi porn equals Iraqi freedom, AP says

George W. Bush's Mission is Accomplished with Iraqi porn

According to an article from the Associated Press, the fact that Iraqi citizens are "elbow-deep" in porn is a testament to the country's increase in freedom and security. Copies of Striptease and a "straight-to-video erotic thriller starring Daniel Baldwin" are two examples of what the article deems as progress.

It may be hard for us in the New World to be optimistic about anything starring a non-Alec Baldwin brother, but the article points out that Iraqi street vendors are also hawking homegrown pornography:

In a nod to the politically elusive dream of Arab unity, Hanoun carries a collection entitled Cheap Meat. "It's got Syrian, Egyptian, Lebanese girls," he says. "All the Arabs."

But Jezebel casts doubt upon the prospect of an international coalition of Islamic babes. The blog, using the well-respected MuslimPornStars.com, verified that not all of the women are Arabic; one dastardly Brazilian woman, posing under the pseudonym Aaba bin Skeikh, snuck into beloved hits like Arab Street Hookers. It seems that the Iraqi dreams of political liberty, economic independence, and pornographic quality are still a long ways away.
