I guess if you're going to be in the business of growing and selling baby carrots anyway, it helps to have a sense of humor about the whole thing. The campaign, which uses the slogan "Baby Carrots: Eat 'em like junk food," was developed by Crispin Porter + Bogusky and used both print and commercial advertising to make the healthy snack look more like junk food. I know this sounds unbelievably lame, but the ads are pretty funny:
Crispin Porter + Bogusky does a lot of actual junk food advertising, so it's no surprise that these parodies are pretty on-the-nose. (They also came up with some nice package redesigns.) Good job, baby carrot people! But I'm still probably going to eat potato chips. I'm sorry.
