Teri Hatcher launches sexy anti-Botox, pro-bikini campaign

We don't often talk about TV's housewives, real or desperate, but Scanner has always loved one Miss Teri Hatcher for numerous nostalgic reasons.

(She proved the internet's growing power before most people were even on it: a photo of her wearing only a Superman cape around her body crashed dozens of websites back on its release day in 1995. She played Lois Lane, for God's sake-- and had one of the sexiest scenes in any Bond movie when she seduced Pierce Brosnan in Tomorrow Never Dies.)

Over the weekend, she released some photos that proved she no longer gets Botox -- and explained why women don't need it:
 

'Thought about all those damn critics of my face. Love it or hate it, my face that is, no surgery, no implants, no matter what "they" say.

'Decided I'd shoot myself to reveal some truths about "beauty" and hope it makes you all easier on yourself.'

'Did I ever toy with fillers or Botox over the years? Yes. (But) tell me does this look Botoxed to you?

'Yes I am alone in my bathroom naked in a towel on behalf of women everywhere trying to make a point. Women YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.' 

To prove that women in their 40s do not need Botox -- and to raise money for a charity triathalon benefitting the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Hatcher brought out the sexy swimsuit photos:
