Katy Perry's cleavage visits "Sesame Street"

"Come on, Elmo," Katy Perry cooed on a recent episode of the children's show Sesame Street. "Don't you want to play?"
While Perry didn't tickle him, she did serenade him with a song as she stalked him down some not-very-dark Sesame Alleys. And though this puppet chase spans the globe (there's a moment where they are in the penguin-inhabited South Pole), Perry seemed to have packed light, evidenced by the fact that she chose to don a very low-cut dress in lieu of, say, a turtleneck or any sort of shirt.

And whose fault is it that the segment won't air? It can't all be on Ms Perry. Didn't some wardrobe specialist say "Hey, maybe she should be more covered up?" Didn't some director say "Um, maybe this look isn't appropriate for our show?" Didn't anyone in upper managment look at the final product before it was shown to the public? What were they thinking? It's not like they never had a star/harlot on before.
