Austrian farmgirls don sexy nerd costumes for charity

Just because you're supposedly on the lower end of society's rung, it doesn't mean you can't donate your services to charity. In this case, Austria's hardest-working female farm workers decided a charity calendar was the best way to raise money for promoting sustainable agriculture.
The results were published in two versions, including a set featuring the gals dressed up as everyone from Uma Thurman as Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction (above) to Marilyn Monroe, what's-her-name from Flashdance, Ursula Andress from Dr. No, Catwoman and Lara Croft.
The models - all daughters and sons of working farmers in Austria - say they wanted to show that things are changing down on the farm.
"We're not as unsophisticated as people seem to think. It's about time people saw that all that nature has an effect on young people," said one. [Austrian Times]
That's right -- sons, too. We couldn't find any full-sized photos from the "boys" version, but you can see a thumbnail at the Austrian Times site. (Asylum had the photos you'll see below.)

Why do you use the word "nerd" in the headline? How is any of this in any way nerdy?

Speaking as a Scottish farm boy, those pictures make it clear I was born in the wrong damn country.
