Reader Feedback on "The Music Interview: The Streets"

is nerve, a vice publication? do you have some sort of deal? i ask because "the streets" are obviously one of the worst over-rated over-hyped under-talanted acts that have been pushed recently. he's the worst rapper ive heard in years. his beats are so-so at best. and his lyrical content is tedious. the guy is an embaressment to the uk scene.

Not that I don't love reading about sex all the time, but that was truly a wicked interview. And much deserved; Mike Skinner is making some of the most interesting music I can think of now. I downloaded all the tracks and then went out and bought the album, it's that good. I just wish I had bumped into him when I was spending my year in Australia [pout]. Write about more clever, funny, hot British boys. Please thank you very much.

I'm so glad to see an interview on the streets. You are right in your opening about how rare it is when such a new sound emerges. I've sat here for 5 minutes trying to construct a sentence that gets across how fucking amazing I think their cd is without sounding tired and trite. Great interview Grant, I'm so envious of having a convo with Mike Skinner. Who picks out the bands that are to be interviewed? That person(s) is brilliant.
